The following information is intended for Participants who have chosen to provide their personal data when registering and applying to participate in the “Winter Cup Powered by Samsung Odyssey” Tournament (hereinafter: Tournament”)

● organise the tournament and enable you to participate in Matches, including Activation, and provide you with all important information related to the organisation of the Tournament. The legal basis for such data processing is the necessity for the performance of the agreement concluded with us (the Terms and Conditions of the Winter Cup Powered by Samsung Odyssey Tournament accepted by you);
● defend ourselves against potential claims or to pursue possible claims related to your participation in the Tournament. The legal basis for such data processing is our legitimate interest in defending against claims or asserting claims.
If your Team participates in the Tournament, we will capture and share your image to inform about the Tournament and our activities, we will publish such photos or recordings on our informational channels, including sharing them with our partners based on your
consent. If you are under 18 years old, the legal basis for such data processing is the consent given by your legal guardians to capture your image during the Tournament. If your image captured by us during the Tournament will only be a part of the overall coverage of the Tournament, we will publish such photos or recordings on our informational channels, even if you have not given consent for it. The legal basis for such data processing is our legitimate interest in promoting our event on selected communication channels.
If you win the Prize in the Tournament, we will process your personal data in order to award you the Prize. The legal basis for such data processing will be the necessity for the performance of the Terms and Conditions of the Winter Cup Powered by Samsung Odyssey Tournament. We will also process your personal data to fulfil our legal obligations, in particular arising from tax regulations and accounting regulations. The legal basis for such data processing is its necessity for the performance of our legal obligations arising from tax and accounting law provisions.

If your Team advances to the Tournament Match, your image may be shared with online creators for the purpose of broadcasting the Tournament Match on their channel on the Twitch.tv platform.

We would like to inform you that the EU Commission has made a decision concerning the United Kingdom, affirming that an adequate level of protection has been ensured. Before your personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the Data Controller will make every effort to ensure that such transfer does not result in a reduction of the level of protection guaranteed to you under the laws of the EEA countries. Proper protection of your personal data will also be ensured in the event of further transfer of your personal data from the original third country to another (subsequent) third country outside the EEA. 4. Retention period of your personal data
We will process your personal data for the duration of the Tournament and also for the period of the statute of limitations for claims relating to your participation in the Tournament or until you raise a legitimate objection to the processing of your personal data by us.
Your data will be processed by us for a period of five years from the end of the tax year to which the document relates, within the scope of data covered by tax and accounting documentation.
If your Team participates in the Tournament:
● Where your image is only a detail of the overall course of the Tournament Match, we will process your personal data until you object to the processing of your personal data or until we cease processing your image (whichever occurs first).
● Where your image is not a detail of the overall course of the Tournament Match, we will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data or until we cease processing your image (whichever occurs first). If you have not reached the age of 18, we will process your personal data until such consent is withdrawn by your parents.

Where your child’s image is not a detail of the overall course of the Tournament Match, we will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent to the processing of your child’s personal data (image) or until we cease processing your child’s image (whichever occurs first).
If your child’s Team wins the Prize, your child’s data will be processed by us for a period of five years from the end of the tax year to which the document relates, within the scope of data covered by tax and accounting documentation.
