IV. TOURNAMENT AND MATCH RULES
IV.1. The Tournament involves playing Matches in the Game between Teams in an online format.
IV.2. The Tournament is played in the following stages:
a) Stage 1 – Qualifications: All teams are divided into pairs, which play one Match against each other. The Team that wins the Match advances and plays a Match against the Team that won its Match. The Team that loses the Match is eliminated from the Tournament. Then the schedule of Matches between Teams in the qualifications is repeated until there are four (4) Teams left in the Tournament, which advance to the second stage of the Tournament;
b) Stage 2 – Group Stage: Four (4) Teams qualified for Stage 2 are divided into the same group, where they play Matches against each other in a single-match format, double elimination brackets. One winning Team from each of the four groups advances to Stage 3 of the Tournament. Teams that lose in the double-elimination bracket are eliminated from the Tournament;
c) Stage 3 – Final Phase: Four (4) Teams – one winning Team from each group of the Group Stage – that advance to the Stage 3, are divided into two semi-finals. Two Teams participate in one semi-final. The Winner of the semi-final is the Team that wins two of the three Matches played in the semi-final. The winning Team will play the final match in a best-of-five-game format. The Winner is the Team that wins three out of five Matches played in the final.
IV.3. The stages of the Tournament referred to in point IV.2. of the Terms and Conditions, are based on the draw of the tournament bracket, which separates the Teams and organises their subsequent Matches in the Tournament before the first Match. The tournament bracket mentioned in the previous sentence, as well as the results of individual Matches, will be made available on the Tournament Website.
IV.4. Stage 1 – Qualification and Stage 2 – Group Stage are played four times, and each qualification and group stage is sponsored by a specific internet creator who will broadcast the Matches on their channel on Twitch.tv platform.
